Putting Down Roots (December MoonZoom w/ Sofia Fleming)

Each month, we gather around the warm fire of community to be seen and heard, centering the questions that animate us.

November Theme: Putting Down Roots

What does it mean to “put down roots”, to be “rooted”? How might a traveler put down roots? How does this compare to how we root in our home places?

In this MoonZoom, we will be exploring the idea of being grounded in a place, in ourselves, in each other.

This month, we are welcoming Guest Inquirer, Sofia Fleming.

Sofia is a college student currently studying aborad in Ecuador. You can find her wearing Chacos, wandering through a random park and eating a tasty snack. She enjoys cooking with friends, snowy walks, loud conversations., and the many little quiet moments of life.

Sofia was a student of Davis’ in 202 at Alzar School, and has been a consistent MoonZoomer for the past year.
